This year I put myself forward for The North of England Wedding Awards.

I honestly didn't think I'd get very far but thought it would be a good way to get feedback and see how my business is progressing. 

Finalists 2017

I was amazed when I found out that I'd been shortlisted and was invited to their awards ceremony at York Racecourse.  Unfortunately, I was unable to attend and also didn't win an award but I have been absolutely blown away by the feedback my lovely wedding couples left for me.

"Unbelievable day with a friendly photographer who put everyone at ease, listened to what we wanted and delivered. Everything we asked for, we got and had a laugh along the way. Great guy."

"We believe scott should win this award because he truly really listened to what we were looking for. He reflected the day atmosphere and emotions perfectly. Nothing was too much trouble. Even though he travelled a long way to be with us nothing was too much trouble. We walked to several locations for photos all turning out to be beautiful. Everyone commented on what a great bloke he was. We honestly believe he made our day better. We couldn't of asked for anything else. "

It snowed the morning we got married, everything came to a standstill, even some of the roads were closed and airports.

Scott was there well before us and even transported all his equipment on the bus.. "
